Jay Lurie

Jay is based in Washington, DC and is VP, Commercial Finance for Odyssey Energy Solutions, facilitating investment flow into distributed energy projects and companies through sector-specialized and industry-leading technology tools.  Jay’s team works with banks, funds and DFIs to enhance the transaction experience from origination through to due diligence and asset management.  Odyssey is active across Sub-Saharan Africa with a physical presence in regional hubs of West, East and Southern Africa.  Jay joined Odyssey in 2022, bringing 20 years of experience in global infrastructure/energy financing and capital markets at IFC, Macquarie Capital and Credit Suisse.  Most recently, he was the founding Chief Investment Officer of DC Green Bank, a quasi-public specialty finance institution focused on catalyzing private investment in small-scale sustainable infrastructure.
