
Léa Giroux
Léa began her career in private equity funds of Natixis Environment and Infrastructure, working on renewable energy projects throughout Europe. In 2010 she joined ENGIE and has since held various financial and managerial positions within the Group for diverse activities and geographies. Since 2020, Léa has been a Business Developer and Project Manager for ENGIE Renewable Business Line based in South Africa. As part of her role, she develops solar and wind pipelines as well as bids on three solar projects awarded in BW5 tenders. Additionally, she is responsible for the sourcing of investment and project opportunities in South Africa, and for the management of Renewable Projects from development up to closing. Previously, she was part of the Acquisition Investment and Financial Advisory team of ENGIE's Africa Business Unit and led the acquisitions of companies in the services sector throughout Southern and Western Africa. She holds a master’s in project finance and Structured Finance from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and graduated from Université Paris X.
