Lili Nupen

Lili Nupen is a founder of Nupen Staude de Vries Incorporated, a boutique law firm specialising in construction, mining and environmental law. She has extensive experience in the environmental and mining legal regulatory arena. Previously, Lili was a senior associate at Bowman Gilfillan for three years, and a director for over seven years at Malan Scholes Inc, specialising in mining and environmental regulatory law practice. She has a deep understanding of the South African mining industry and enjoys well-established relationships with its regulators. Lili has practical experience working on transactions involving both international and local mining and exploration companies throughout South Africa and Africa. She is currently assisting with the analysis of the new Mining Charter and the effect which it has on mining operations in South Africa.
