Luke is an energy and sustainability specialist, with over 15 years of consulting experience in the green economy, renewable energy, manufacturing and engineering. He has a BSc in Electro-Mechanical Engineering (2004) from the University of Cape Town and has studied project management at Wits, Gibs and the University of Pretoria. At the NBI he is the project lead on energy and climate projects. Luke is currently focused on scaling up energy efficiency in municipal infrastructure, supporting the government on energy management in the current loadshedding crisis at NECOM and mobilising the purchase of electricity generated from renewable energy at RAiSE, an innovation hub and think tank..
