Thabo Hlalele

Thabo Hlalele is the Head of Energy Research Centre at the CSIR based in Pretoria, South Africa. He is responsible for leading research, development and innovation in energy, focusing on sustainable energy sources. He has extensive experience in techno-economics, energy modelling and energy policy. His experience in energy policy and techno-economics enables him to advise public and private sector clients on the domestic and international energy landscape and provide them with strategic advice on navigating the opportunities in industry and R&D.
