Thomas Frohn

Thomas leads the Green Energy & Sustainability activities at TÜV SÜD South Africa for the Southern African region. His role includes advisory, testing, inspection and certification services for renewable energy, hydrogen and climate action projects. With 6 years of experience in the field of decarbonisation, hydrogen, PtX and green energy, Thomas has supported decarbonisation and hydrogen projects throughout the entire value chain, ensuring the safety and efficiency of sustainable technologies. He holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, specialising in material damage mechanisms and nanomaterials for catalytic processes in hydrogen fuel cells.
