Christian Teffo

Christian Teffo is the Deputy Head of Techno-Economics at the Minerals Council South Africa, where he has worked for over 16 years. A qualified Mining Engineer and final-year MBA student, he brings more than a decade of operational experience across chrome, gold and diamond mining. He plays a key role in shaping policy and driving strategic partnerships across the sector. Christian also serves on the boards of Coaltech, Mines Rescue Services, Road Transport Management System and several national forums and professional associations. His work involves collaborating with the Presidency’s Electricity Task Team to advance energy reforms vital for South Africa’s economic resilience.
