Hebren James

Hebren James is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in the African power sector, with a strong focus on utility-scale renewable energy. Actively involved in South Africa’s energy transition since the inception of the REIPPPP, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the presence of global OEMs and technical advisory firms across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to joining Goldwind Africa, Hebren served as Country Manager for a global clean energy firm, driving business development across the Southern African region. He previously led the African market entry of a leading Danish advisory firm and held senior sales roles at a global wind turbine manufacturer, where he was instrumental in closing several landmark wind energy projects. His expertise spans project development, technical advisory, and commercial strategy.
Hebren holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Management Sciences.
