Puleng Pitso

Puleng is an Investment Specialist in Ninety One’s Emerging Market Alternative Credit team, with over 10 years’ industry experience. She works primarily on the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund, focusing on the Transport (including e-mobility), Power and Digital Communications sector. In her role, she is responsible for, among other tasks, origination and execution of transactions. Notably, she has worked on Africa’s first fully electric Bus Rapid Transit system, in Dakar – Senegal. Prior to joining Ninety One, Puleng was an Associate Transactor in Energy & Infrastructure Corporate Financing Solutions, Corporate Investment Banking at Standard Bank. Before that she was a Manager in Power & Infrastructure financing, Deal Advisory at KPMG (SA). After completing her articles programme, she was a Senior Accountant in the Consumer Markets and Technology, Audit division. Puleng holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Economics and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
